The Owl’s Nest Wedding Conference Centre |
November 2, 2009 |
October has been a popular month for weddings and conferences at The Owl’s Nest Wedding Conference Centre.
The colour pink has made a comeback after orange has been the favourite theme colour for a long time. Although some brides have very cleverly used the combination of pink and orange, which has been very bright and festive.
We would like to congratulate all our bridal couples and we wish them a happy and blessed future together.
Rina & Emil celebrated their special day on 3 October. Although there were a few hick-ups with the dress the night before, it didn’t put a dampener on the celebrations! The couple and their guests were blessed with a beautiful spring day to begin their lives as Mr & Mrs!
Erika & Chris were married on 10 October. This was a very stylish wedding. The olive green overlays and deep red roses gave an elegant feel to the banquet hall. The candelabra, with little lamps at the top, instead of candles, enhanced the ambience and turned the wedding into a night to remember, for a radiant bride and groom.
Marli & Lennie van der Westhuizen’s wedding took place on 17 October. As both the bride and groom were in Zambia until a week before the wedding, stress levels were running a bit high!! Luckily the couple were blessed with a mother like Torien, who took over and arranged everything, together with the very helpful and efficient staff at The Owl’s Nest. Even the cake that had to be re-baked, and a shower of rain, as the sermon came to an end, did not prevent them from having the day of their dreams.
